You've seen our tweets. Perhaps you've commented on a PPRA Facebook status. You get our emails and e-newsletters. PPRA is certainly a social media savvy organization, but there was still one thing we were missing: a blog!
The goal for the PPRA blog is to provide members and other PR professionals from around the world with fresh, fun and intelligent commentary about public relations issues and topics. We'll also let you know about our upcoming events, post recaps from past events, keep you up-to-date on Philly PRoactive, interview PR professionals, feature Philadelphia PR students, and so much more.
This blog is completely member-driven. With nearly 400 members from all areas of the Philadelphia communications and public relations industry, our content will certainly be diverse and cover many areas of the PR industry including agency life, health care, non-profit, education, crisis management, entertainment, tourism and hospitality, as well as several other sectors.
Want to get involved?
PPRA members and students attending universities in the Philadelphia area are encouraged to submit blog posts for the PPRA blog. We already have several PPRA members committed to blogging, but we are ALWAYS looking for more. Plus, it's a great way to get a clip!
If you're interested in learning more about how to submit a post, please contact Jessica Lawlor at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Additionally, thank you so much to Kristyn Aldrich, who graciously volunteered to design this blog.
To be sure you don't miss a PPRA blog post, please subscribe to our blog by clicking the orange 'subscribe' button to the right or by becoming a follower of this blog.
